The Abolitionist Round Table
|
If there is one aspect of Joshua’s Trail that make this
program a success, it is the Abolitionist Round Table that consist of , Dr.
Levon R. Yuille, Charles McCollough, and Milt Harris. |
|
Abolition speaks to the advocacy of the abolition of slavery.
There are those individuals in America who are enslaved to a life of failure
because they have allowed themselves to be deceived by the demagogy of some of
our leaders who exploit their own people for personal gain. And then there are
others who manipulate the black experience to their own advantage so that they
can use the civil rights movement to promote their own agenda.
|
|
The Spanish philosopher, George Santayana said, “ Those who
cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”. This quote is one of the
great motivations behind the, Abolitionist Round Table, which consist of three
men who are determine to remind their people, and America in general about much
of our history that has been forgotten. Because we believe much of America’s
history , especially the Christian aspect has been forgotten.
|
|
So two very passionate men join Dr. Yuille on Joshua’s trail
and become voices in the wilderness. Charles McCollough and Milt Harris
represent over a hundred and twenty years of experience relative to living in
Detroit, Michigan. They know the people, the cities good and bad side. Charles
worked for over thirty years in the auto industry and Milt Harris is a business
man, who earns a living by working in the Detroit Metro area. These are two
salt of the earth type of men, who care about their city and country.
|
|
Charles is our firebrand who speaks from his heart with a
great care and concern about what is happening in America, Milt as well in his
calm and analytical way makes you think about things deeply, often amusingly.
These men make Joshua’s Trail like no other talk show in America.

|
Mrs. Sally Yuille is to be credit with this team being a
weekly feature of this program, because it was because of her suggestion, that
Dr. Yuille asked Charles and Milt to journey with him every week down freedoms
highway. |
